The system follows the data warehousing strategy of extract-transform-load. We chose the Neo4j graph database for downstream analysis and built a web app to perform and present queries we found useful.
The transform step has been rewritten several times and has become an object of study in its own right.
The query app has also been simplified and generalized by storing all queries in a database of their own (yaml) and reflecting on them in navigation.
We now recognize the system as a Context Map by Eric Evans' definition.
